Baystate is "run" by the Greater Lowell Road Runners (GLRR). We always seek to improve upon things. One way we do that is my offering people a way is my creating the Motivational Mile, an area along the course that is meant to inspire runners in both the half and full marathons with motivational signs. (Each sign is about 24"x18" in size.)
The motivational signs will be displayed from the Rourke Bridge to the Bath House about a mile down the road along Pawtucket Boulevard. Half marathoners will pass through this section twice (around mile 3 and mile 10) and marathoners will be through just once (around mile 23) as they are taking on their last few miles. (They'll be there until around 1:30 pm.)

It's $50 per sign. Well create the sign based upon what you send us. You can send us just the text of your order message, add an image along with it (and we'll put them together), or if you like, send us (as an image) a completed design yourself.
After Race Day, if you want your sign, we offer two choices for you to get it. You can pick it up at the GLRR clubhouse in Dracut, MA at the start of our weekly Saturday 8am morning group run, or we can send it to you by US Mail (or another carrier) for the average $15 that they typically charge to ship them.
Submissions will be accepted until Monday, Sept. 22 at midnight.
